Widest range of devices optimised for Lync from mobile through to enterprise class video
Starting with the DECT KIRK and SpectraLink wireless devices bringing Lync connectivity and presence out of the office and onto the work floor, the warehouse or hospital ward. The CX range of devices beginning with the CX100, a simple, portable USB speaker phone with high fidelity sound. The CX200 and CX300 are full feature driverless USB speakerphones. The CX500 and CX600 are full colour screen phones, designed for the common or shared area desktop featuring the legendary Polycom HDvoice and full Lync functionality.

Collaboration
For collaboration Polycom has the unique CX3000 Lync optimised conference phone with HDvoice and the CX5000 video enabled desktop Unified Collaboration Station with engaging 360 degree group field of view.

Room based video collaboration
Polycom’s native implementation of RTV in the HDX and soon the RMX product line offers customers a choice of MCU (Multi Conference Unit) – either Microsoft’s feature set AV-MCU with native participation by Polycom HDX video endpoints, or via the  Polycom RMX with all of its additional features like Continuous Presence, H.323 and H.320 connectivity, and much more.
For the Microsoft AV-MCU, with unravelled simplicity for the user and Legendary Polycom performance the unique CX7000  twin screen room based video system is brand new and launching in July 2011 for premise based Lync and cloud based Office 365.
Two combinations of audio and camera set ups make this suitable for meeting rooms between 4 and 12 people. This enables high definition, face to face collaboration with people and remote and local content sharing in HD video using familiar mouse and keyboard. The native Microsoft Lync and Exchange integration simplifies management and a familiar user experience, simply click to move from IM to full video, sharing content along the way.

Rich Media Recording and Delivery
The Polycom® Video Content Management (VCM) platform streamlines the processes, devices and technology required to produce and distribute media effectively over existing IT infrastructures. It is the industry’s only automated, end-to-end platform to support the complete content lifecycle of all video assets regardless of source or format—from the point of enterprise video capture, to portal-based viewer access, to video content management and administration, to controlling the delivery and expiration of rich media across the network.

Polycom is uniquely able to record, manage and deliver rich media content including Lync generated content as part of the deep native integration with Lync and SharePoint with the Accordent Media Management Suite. From ingesting content such as Lync sessions, white board, video conference or lecture or class room sessions, managing and ordering this and presenting it through highly customised portals either as Video on Demand or live Content Streaming and Webcasting.
