Lite

The Lite version is the entry level / cost-effective solution allowing adoption of the brand new Unified Communications services to match basic requirements or complement existing architectures for organizations from just a few seats up to 100 seats.

Core Unified Communications services

In the Lite model, companies can set up a limited number of configurations between Core and Optional Unified Communications services. Options are shown below.
Exchange 2010 + Lync for intranet users.	Activation and management of Exchange 2010 and Lync services, independent of user profiles - certificates not included.
Lync for intranet users + Lync Internet Publishing.	Activation and management of Lync services with the activation of edge services, independent of user profiles - certificates not included.
Exchange 2010 + Sharepoint 2010 Foundation site.	Activation and management of Exchange 2010 and of the Sharepoint 2010 Foundation site.
